Contrary to all concerted lies against him, Mark Jimenez was accused and convicted only of two (2) offenses. Clearly, Mark Jimenez was convicted only for income tax evasion and conspiracy to commit an offense against the US government (illegal political contributions). He was NEITHER ACCUSED NOR CONVICTED OF ANY DRUG-RELATED CASE. He was NOT EVEN CHARGED OF BEING A MEMBER OF THE MAFIA OR ANY DRUG CARTEL. He has NOT COMMITTED MONEY LAUNDERING and has NOT PLOTTED ANY COUP to oust the government. Moreover, Mark Jimenez was not sentenced to 100 years of imprisonment as contained in the fabrications of the executive, judiciary and the media in their campaign to put down a good man. The truth is, he was directed to serve a term of 27 months, which was eventually reduced to 22 months due to his good behavior.

From the sentence it is clear that Mark Jimenez (1) voluntarily surrendered; (2) returned to the US after the extradition proceedings; (3) was released on bond and did not violate the conditions of his bond; (4) has no prior criminal history; (5) was convicted of non-violent, non-drug offenses; and (6) was not a flight risk.

Mark Jimenez was vilified by the executive, judiciary and media. Although untrue, he was portrayed to be a fugitive and convicted of a violent and/or drug-related crime. The defamation was so relentless and vicious, causing untold hardship and pain not only to Mark Jimenez, but also to his family and friends.
