Northwest Airline Incident

Non-scheduled stopover in Narita Airport, Japan (bad weather and technical problems)

Stranded for 14 hours

200 passengers, 160 of which were Filipino

18% Japanese, 2% other nationalities were given hotel accommodations

Wowowee Tragedy at Ultra

A stampede broke out at Ultra on February 4, 2006 prior to the start of the noon-time show Wowowee.

88 people died and 300 were injured.

Mark Jimenez provided 74 families with Php10,000 cash plus Php10,000 worth of groceries.
